St Augustine Main Post Office |
A few of our North Florida District offices have been promoting a Customer Appreciation Week to show that there is nothing more important to us than our customers.
Take a look at some of the offices' decor!
On July 18, the Savannah Post Office and the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace celebrated the adventure and spirit of Girl Scouting with a special dedication of the U.S. Postal Service’s new Celebrate Scouting Forever stamp.
The stamp, issued by the Postal Service
on June 9, honors the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouts in the
USA. Juliette Gordon Low’s 2012 Medal of Freedom was presented to the Juliette Gordon Low
Birthplace house and attended by Gordon family members.
The Celebrate Scouting Forever
stamp commemorates the proud history of the Girl Scouts, the Year of the Girl
in 2012, and the Girl Scouts call to action for the future, ToGetHerThere.
Celebrate Scouting is the “sister” stamp to the 2010 Scouting
stamp that pays tribute to Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts for the opportunities
and experiences they have provided for millions of young people worldwide.
