As Panama City,
FL, Northside Station City Carrier John Rotenberger knocked on the door to
deliver a parcel for one of his customers, he heard her yell out from inside
that she had fallen and broken her leg.
The door
was locked, so Rotenberger ran across the street to dial 911, came back to the
customer’s door, to wait and comfort her until first responders arrived and got
inside the door.
Rescuers
discovered the woman had fallen about 10:30 pm the night before and had been on
the floor since. The customer and her family commend Rotenberger for his heroic
and unselfish act.
