Recently postal employees from the Macon Post Office Processing and
Distribution Center form a race/walk team call The First Class Crew participated in the
Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure event that was held in Byron, Georgia.
Twenty-seven
people joined the First Class Crew team consisting of family and friends who raised $260 dollars in donations to help fund
mammogram testing and breast cancer research.
Using
the post office Breast Cancer Awareness Stamp as their team logo " Feed
the Fund" the team was also
awarded "Rookie Team Award . "
