Jacksonville Pottsburg Station’s City Carrier Associate Mark Pegram was delivering his route. As he passed a residence, a man speaking only Spanish came to the door. Mark could see he was in obvious distress and at home by himself. Mark noticed the man was having difficulty breathing and being understood. Mark called 911 and attended and stayed with the man until the medical attendants arrived. Seeing everything was being taken care of, Mark proceeded and completed his route. Accolades are extended to Mr. Pegram for being attentive and reacting quickly to save a customer’s life.
