Jacksonville hosts Second Day Dedication of Wilt Chamberlain Forever Stamp

L-R: Jax Officer in Charge Willie Trawick, Jax Giants Vice President Joe Miller,
District Manager Charley Miller, Marketing Manager Lucious Sumlar

On January 31st, before over 13,000 attendees, the 2nd Day Dedication of the Wilt Chamberlain Forever stamp was held at the basketball game between the semi-professional Jax Giants and Shreveport Mavericks at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena.

Dubbed as Employee Appreciation Night, postal employees joined many attendees from near and far to support the American Basketball Association’s No. 1 Mavericks against the No. 2 Giants. Although the Mavericks were victorious, the real winner was the Postal Service. Our brand and employees basked in the limelight of center stage as we showcased our product, the Wilt Chamberlain Forever Stamp. During pre-game festivities, Jacksonville Officer in Charge Willie Trawick along with District Manager Charley Miller and Marketing Manager Lucious Sumlar presented the framed stamp artwork to a proud Giants Vice President Joe Miller.
