Communications Ambassador Ann Simms

During the recent holiday season, St. Simons Island, GA, Post Office employees pleasantly surprised their customers with a Customer Appreciation Day. The entire facility was filled with the sounds of holiday music, festively decorated with holiday colors, poinsettias, and images of Rudolph while the aroma of baked holiday goodies filled the air. The day began with employees providing customers with muffins and fruit throughout the morning. The refreshments continued until close of business with the added touch of employees greeting customers with a smile and the statement, “we appreciate you.” “Our customers are the greatest and they were very impressed that we made such a gesture to show them how happy we are to serve them. One customer even posted pictures on Facebook to show what small town life is like on St. Simons Island,” said Communication Ambassador Ann Simms.
